A study in time and place, this three-bottle vertical of Machado Pinot Noir brings together the 2018, 2019, and 2021 vintages, each shaped by the same vineyard yet defined by the conditions of its growing season. Machado’s rolling sandy loam soils yield wines of lifted aromatics, red fruit purity, and fine structure, with an undercurrent of earthy nuance that carries through each vintage. Tasted side by side, the wines reveal both the consistency of site and the subtle distinctions that make each year singular. Set includes 1 bottle each of 2018, 2019, and 2021 Machado Pinot Noir.
